Local companies report that they find it hard to hire sufficient people to grow and sustain their businesses. On the other hand, students are not given the job skills they need to impress future employers.

By matching the two together the JobShop goes a long way to plugging this gap. The College's students, of all ages, will not only be provided with an easy mechanism to find jobs but will be able to develop employment skills, through job skills workshops and one to one careers counselling. Cirencester students should be the employees of choices for employers in the local area. The Academies JobShop works closely with several key sponsors.
